Hi Pam,
Thank-you for the nice ping...I'm enjoying Gather ...I did think of one suggestion that would help me out as far as the NEW Gather and I didn't see a suggestion box, so...When I go to my profile I immediately go to the feed and change it to "images"...that is my interest. ...The next time I enter Gather I must do the same thing....
Pam, instead of the feed always reverting to "all activities' is there a way so it will stay on "images" for me unless I choose to change it to example "comments" or "friends" etc? Once I get the images up...page looks cool..

I've not heard back from Michele on how the view count is figured. it's not urgent, of course, but since that bit about views from outside gather came up before, I would like to know how they are counted now at some point.

you went to see the Boston Marathon with your kids? I'll be that was fun -- I've cheered friends on at several marathons, but not the Boston one (yet)

Hi Pam! I'm wondering when I can change my black icon back to the beautiful sunset photo I had before the latest "hawthorne" downgrade, which you call an upgrade? You have turned Gather into a "run of the mill" social website, after starting out as a unique place to share "content" of photos, articles and videos. Now it's a real "pain" to find and comment on other people's content. The feed is a cluttered up "mess" and the icon images are so small that you can't tell what the photo is or whether you want to even view it. You've "juvenilized" this website into making "who pinged who" and "who connected with who" the focus instead of a nice "adult" website to share and exchange interesting content with one another. I graduated from high school over 30 years ago, Tom!!! Gather has lost the "fun" for me, as well as, many, many others... Please, please consider "fixing" this mess so we can enjoy Gather again. Thanks! Sue
